Mud and Spray
This is the ultimate surf and turf experience! Set in the
heart of the Pembrokeshire countryside,
you will get the chance to experience 4x4 landrover driving
across a 15-acre specialist off road driving course. You will be
given basic tuition then accompanied through the green lanes
and rivers before
you reach the slopes and banks of the challenging varied
terrain, which includes mud, water and woodland.
This activity is not for the faint hearted. It has been
developed for experienced drivers who want to gain more
handling skills or for absolute beginners who just want to learn
the basics of driving. This may
be the first time some of you have ever driven!
If you thought that was exciting, you then get to
explore the estuary at Lawrenny Quay by Powerboat! Lunch is
provided for you at the Quayside Cafe, where you have a short time
to calm the morning’s adrenaline before you head out onto the
water. You will have excellent powerboat tuition from one of
the experienced tutors, where they will cover full safety issues,
seamanship and handling on the estuary. Then you will get
to try the experience for yourself!
Both activities are supervised by fully qualified
and experienced instructors. Each person on the
activity will get the chance to drive both the 4x4 and powerboat as
each session has 1 instructor to
3 participants. This is to insure health and safety as well as
giving everybody an equal share of
the experience.
Duration: Full day,
9.30am-4pm.
Is this for me/my
family? Children must be over 13 years old. Groups of
6 people for each activity. These will then be split into 2 groups
of 3 for health and safety. Available on Sundays and Wednesday
only. If you have any disabilities or medical conditions, please
check before booking.
Maximum group
size: Groups sizes may vary. Larger groups may be
available upon request.
Departs: 9.30am
from Bluestone, returning to the park for 4pm. Transportation will
be provided from Bluestone to each activity.
Prices: £150 per
person. Booking is advised at busy times of the year, due
to limited numbers
allowed on each activity and availability of
days.
