Land and Sea Safari
A double whammy of adventure! Quad bike your way through 200
acres of national park, then after
lunch hop on board for a trip to Ramsey Island to experience
stunning scenery and marine wildlife.
Arriving in St David’s you will be kitted out and fully briefed
on how to use the quad bikes. From this
point the fully trained and experienced instructor can ensure an
experience tailored to your ability.
You will enjoy 2 hours of quad biking on guided trails through
200 acres of national park, travel through woods, valleys, rivers
and streams.
Lunch is then provided for you, and following this you will be
transferred to St Justinian to begin the water-based part of this
adventure! You will be escorted by a trained and experienced guide
and provided with safety equipment for your trip. Your expert guide
and skipper personally tailors each voyage to your needs ensuring
an unrivalled voyage of a lifetime.
The powerful 12-seater vessel will take you on a 2 hour trip
around Ramsey Island, home to the
RSPB reserve and lots of interesting marine life, this extended
Ramsey tour includes visits to the less frequented islands, views
of the wildlife colonies, spectacular scenery and if conditions
allow a visit to the North Bishops Island.
Navigating into spectacular sea caves, through gorges and around
spectacular cliffs you will observe colonies of birds, grey seals
and porpoises at close hand - a wonderful opportunity for children
and photographers.
The excursion is operated by a long standing local family
company with highly qualified and experienced personnel including
oceanographers, fishermen, scientists and coastguard.
All the vessels have been equipped with full inboard seating and
the latest navigational aids.
Duration: This package lasts a full day with
the time divided between the two activities.
Transport departs from Bluestone at 9:30 am and arrives back
at 4:30 pm.
Is this for me/my family? This Package is more
suited to older families and small groups, Children must be 16 or
over. If you have any disabilities or medical conditions,
please check suitability before booking.
Maximum group size: A maximum of 12
persons are permitted for each activity, thus 24 persons per
trip.
Departs: This package operates twice weekly on
Saturdays and Wednesdays from the
1st March – 31st October.
Prices: The cost of this excursion is
£125 per person which includes transfers, equipment and lunch.
