Cardiff Carnival 2013
The summer’s most definitely here and here at Bluestone National Park Resort we’re getting into the carnival spirit by supporting the Cardiff Carnival for the second year running.
We’re working with our friends at SWICA Carnival and the Cardiff Festival to help bring Wales’ capital city alive with music, events, activities and carnival fun for the 24th Cardiff Carnival on Saturday, 10th August.
This week – running right through until September – we launched our very own Summer Festival here at Bluestone in spectacular Pembrokeshire, where guests at our luxury short break holiday resort can get up to their very own carnival atmosphere.
So it’s a great tie-up with Cardiff Carnival 2013 and organisers SWICA Carnival.
“Our Summer Festival at Bluestone is all about free range family fun and with a range of carnival enthused activities for all ages, including a great carnival parade each week,” said Yvonne Buckingham, Head of Marketing at Bluestone.
“So our sponsorship of Cardiff Carnival is a great way to spread the free range fun and our great Bluestone excitement to Wales’ capital city for all to enjoy.”
SWICA Carnival’s city centre location will see the very best of Cardiff’s creative community – not only amazing carnival costumes and creations but also celebratory world music, street entertainment, circus, burlesque and more besides.
The finale parade, which will take place on Saturday the 10th of August from 3.30pm from ATRiuM is going to be amazing. The carnival route will now also take in Cardiff’s Queen Street for the first time, so expect a riot of colour and positive carnival energy in the very heart of the city.
Don’t forget that the city centre will have two open-air carnival street entertainment stages in the city centre from 11.30am on the 10th August as well and Bluestone will be there to celebrate, so come along and have some fun.
In the meantime, check out our very own carnival festival here at Bluestone by visiting www.bluestonewales.com.
Welsh rugby international Ryan Jones has been finding out about the summer festival fun at Bluestone.
This week it has been a real struggle to avoid all of the frozen summer treats, from chocolate based ice lollies to all sorts of yummy ice cream flavours it’s a tough time of year to stay on the bikini bod bandwagon!
As the weather gets warmer and the school holidays edge ever closer, most people are daydreaming about their upcoming summer holidays, but what is it that makes the perfect summer holiday?
