Happy First Anniversary to The Wales Coastal Path
This weekend marks the first anniversary of the opening of the Wales Coastal Path – 870 miles of stunning scenery and landscapes, including the spectacular Pembrokeshire Coast Path.
It was officially opened on the 5th May last year and more than 2.8 million people have walked stretches of it since.
To mark the first anniversary The Ramblers have organised the Big Welsh Walk 2013, with a host of events and walks along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path this weekend.
We’re very pleased to be a base for many of these visitors and walkers who come to Bluestone National Park Resort for a luxury short break holiday and venture out to be invigorated on long or short walks along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.
With such a rich and varied landscape here in Pembrokeshire, it’s no surprise that so many people come to enjoy the stunning scenery within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
Did you now it covers 186 miles and passes 58 stunning beaches?
And at least if you’re staying at Bluestone after undertaking part or all of the path, you can relax and unwind at our exclusive Well Spa and thermal rooms, or maybe enjoy some great food at our restaurants – that’s not forgetting the luxury accommodation where you can relax those tired feet and catch up ion some well earned sleep.
