What Makes Someone Visit Bluestone 50 Times

By Megan Tapper Liam

What makes someone visit Bluestone over 50 times? Well, we decided to find out. Margaret Evans from Llanelli is our most frequent guest and has been Bluestone’s biggest fan since her first visit in 2010.

“My first visit was actually a corporate event. I was so impressed with the resort that I come back for a weekend with friends and family. Since then, I’ve never looked back!” said Margaret who regularly visits with friends and family, including her grandchildren.

“We’ve stayed several times during the Christmas period, my grandchildren love it. They especially enjoy seeing the Kingdom of the Elves and Santa - we’ve made some really fond memories here. I’ve seen a lot of change over the last couple of years on resort too – there are lots of new activities for children, more restaurants and new lodges being built.”

Having experienced a lot of what the resort has to offer, Margaret’s spoilt for choice when describing her ideal day at Bluestone.

“Our perfect day at Bluestone really depends on who we have staying with us. If we visit with friends we like to have a relaxing break – we’ll go for walks in the beautiful surroundings before heading to The Well Spa Retreat to unwind. Then in the evening we have a meal at Carreg Las.”

“If I’m staying with the grandchildren however, it’s much more action-packed. We’d head to the Blue Lagoon for a swim and then explore as many of the on-resort activities as we can until the kids are Bluestone-d out! It’s especially nice to see our grandchildren enjoying themselves - they want to come back again and again!”

“We love our breaks at Bluestone. After a hard week at work it’s so nice to get that relaxing holiday feeling where we can switch off and enjoy. We’re always welcomed by management and staff which really makes us feel special and appreciated - they know us by our first names now!”
