We have lots of wonderful people working here at Bluestone – you may already have met them or read about them.
Well, we’re giving them chance to tell you what’s going on here at Bluestone and around us in Pembrokeshire, or what they find interesting at the moment. There’ll be nature updates from Rob Parry from the Wildlife Trusts, who will tell you more about the local birds and beasts, and Martin and Phil might share a few gardening tips, while Terry gives us something to think about with his fascinating insights into local history. Check back when you can and catch up with what’s going on in Bluestone. It’s almost as good as being here.
What’s your favourite book while on holiday? Do you prefer to take the easy reading route with a romance, maybe a thriller with a spy, or how about a political drama?
We recent held a competition with Gransnet with a weekend short break break as a prize. Read the winner’s guest blog post about her and her grandchildren’s free range stay.
It’s not often you’ll see daffodils and leeks as the latest fashion accessory, but on Saturday, 1st March you’ll look rather odd if you’re not wearing your daff or chewing on your leek.
Mums are great. They’re there whenever you need them and a quick cwtch from mum always make you feel better. So why do we celebrate our mums and grandmothers on just one day a year on Mother’s Day – Mothering Sunday?
Here at Bluestone we think games, apps and social media on tablet PCs and iPads are preventing children from experiencing real life, wild fun and adventure in the great outdoors.
