We have lots of wonderful people working here at Bluestone – you may already have met them or read about them.
Well, we’re giving them chance to tell you what’s going on here at Bluestone and around us in Pembrokeshire, or what they find interesting at the moment. There’ll be nature updates from Rob Parry from the Wildlife Trusts, who will tell you more about the local birds and beasts, and Martin and Phil might share a few gardening tips, while Terry gives us something to think about with his fascinating insights into local history. Check back when you can and catch up with what’s going on in Bluestone. It’s almost as good as being here.
Now that Christmas is over, we can all relax a little – the annual orgy of giving and receiving gifts, sending cards, eating and drinking far too much is over for another year. It’s time once again to welcome Terry John for another seasonal sojourn through the pages of history. Over to you, Mr John…
If you are visiting Bluestone during the Christmas period, expect something more than the usual festivities. This is because the staff have decided to revive some of the old traditions that were practised in Pembrokeshire in past centuries…and our ancestors had some quaint and unusual ways of celebrating Christmas.
