What To Bring
Although we try to cater for most of
your needs, you might want to consider bringing along some extras
to ensure you have an even more comfortable and hassle free
stay. If you have any further queries whilst on your stay,
please do not hesitate to ask any of our courteous and friendly
staff. We are all looking forward to being your host.
Before you leave home, please
ensure that you bring the following:
1. If you have not already pre-registered
online, you will need to bring a completed registration form. In
the case of you traveling in more than one car, please ensure that
each car (party) has a copy. This will speed up the checking in
process.
2. Covering letters that detail your
booking references and directions to the Park.
3. Booking confirmations for any
pre-bookings (e.g. activities booked.) You may not receive these
until your arrival but most should be found on your original
booking(s).
Bath Mats
You may wish to bring a rubber, non slip bath
mat. Unfortunately we are unable to provide and realise it might be
a benefit if your party consists of younger children.
Bed Linen
All bed linen is provided (including, duvets
and duvet covers, pillows and pillow cases, sheets and additional
warm blankets if required. We do advise you to bring any children’s
cot linen as unfortunately we are unable to provide. If you should
require a fresh, change of linen whilst on your stay please do not
hesitate to ask.
Towels
Towels are provided in all our accommodation,
and we provide towels if planning a trip to the popular
‘Blue Lagoon’ or if you decide to work up a sweat in our exclusive
‘Landsker Sports Club’
Cots & High Chairs
Children’s cots and high chairs are available
on a pre-booking request. Please inform reservations when making
your booking. You will receive the first item free of charge but a
small charge will apply for additional requests.
Clothing
There’s nothing stuffy about Bluestone. We
have no dress code in place. We want your stay with us to be as
comfortable as possible. We would advise however, that if you are
partaking in an activity that you wear clothes that are both
practical and comfortable to you. You will be provided with all
relevant safety equipment for activities. You will need to provide
your own swimwear for ‘Blue Lagoon’ and ‘The Well’ (spa)
Torch
Even though our paths are well lit, why not
add to the atmosphere by bringing a torch to maybe spot some of our
resident creatures at night. Being situated on the edge of ancient
woodland we are sure you will come across some fascinating
critters.
Bicycles
Here at Bluestone we encourage the use of
bicycles. Not only is it great exercise, it is also a quicker way
to get around our car free resort. Bikes for all the family are
available for hire, as are tag-a-longs and trailers. These are
ideal for children with tired legs. Please feel free to bring
your own.
Backpack
Because the bicycle is the most popular way of
navigating around the village, a backpack tends to prove very
useful. Especially if you stop off at one of our many shops. Or
perhaps you might want to a souvenir from a gift shop whilst on one
our activities or just out exploring on your own.
Sports Equipment
We know how close you sporty types can get
with your own equipment. However, in case you did forget to
pack that lucky racquet, or if you want to try a new sport, various
equipment will be available for hire on-park.
Kitchen Equipment
All of our cottages and lodges are fully
stocked with all necessary cooking utensils to allow you to create
your own culinary delights.
Relax; this is our time to make this
YOUR time.
