We're busy making the final preparations for a weekend of medieval family fun and frolics here at Bluestone National Park Resort for our Celtic Ale Festival this weekend (29-30 September) - with free admission.
Set on our magnificent Tournament Field visitors will be able to enjoy a wide range of activities and entertainment, including re-enactments on Saturday and Sunday from 10am.
Activities will include clay shooting, long bow, catapult and crossbows, to music, a hog roast and a large selection of ales and ciders, including Tomos Watkins, Felinfoel, Newmans and Beacons.
There will also be demonstrations on hand weaving, a blacksmith, woodturning, jewellery making and wood crafting.
We think it's a great weekend of fun and celebrations with a whole host of activities and entertainment available.
We'll also have activities including Castle and Celts mini rangers, pony rides, falconry, a Knight’s School, Knight’s Templar giving demonstrations, and dancing in a special three teepee tent, complete with dance floor.
