We like to think the Blue Lagoon water park here at Bluestone is one of the best places for aqua fun around. But today and tomorrow (7-8 Sept) another Blue Lagoon in Pembrokeshire will be attracting some slightly more adventurous water-based thrill-seekers with the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series taking place near St David’s.
The UK debut of the competition is all set to be a great spectacle that will attract visitors and TV cameras from throughout the world to our very special part of Wales.
Twelve divers will jump from a special platform 27 metres above the Blue Lagoon to try and win this round of the competition which tours locations including the United States, France, Norway and Portugal.
It should be a great spectacle that will pivot Pembrokeshire on to the world stage, allowing millions of people to see the stunning beauty of the West Wales coast and the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
We’re not sure we’d jump from 27 metres into the sea. But we will be jumping into our very own Blue Lagoon here at Bluestone and you’re welcome to join us. There’s some great activities and events always happening. And whether you just want to chill, have fun in the waves, or have a splash frenzy down the water flumes, it’s all here at the Blue Lagoon water park.
So even if you do head to the Red Bull Cliff Diving World series today or tomorrow, you can always head back to us for even more splashtastic fun.
