Happy St David's Day - Dydd Gŵyl Dewi hapus (1st March) from all of us here at Bluestone National Park Resort.
St David's Day is very special for us; not just because St David is the Patron Saint of Wales, but down the road St David's is where the Saint spent a great deal of his life over 400 years ago - at St David's.
And what a better place to visit while staying on a luxury short break holiday here at Bluestone in spectacular Pembrokeshire.
Today, you can visit what is Britain's smallest city and not only see the famous cathedral, but walk along the nearby spectacular Pembrokeshire coast, taking in some great scenery. You'll be able to find out much more about St David and his life during your visit.
To celebrate St David's Day we tasked chef Hywel Ralph to come up with some inspirational recipes that bring out the flavour of Wales. Hywel has come up with some delicious dishes, including a scrummy sweet.
He was inspired by a range locally sourced ingredients and came up with some delicious recipes for Welsh Lamb Cawl, Glamorgan Cheese Sausages and Welsh Bara Brith Crème Brulee.
And best of all, you can either enjoy some of these culinary delights at our fine dining Carreg Las restaurant here at Bluestone, or prepare them yourself by downloading them from our website.
