Why not get catapulted into a fun-packed weekend with the family at the Celtic Ale Festival at Bluestone National Park Resort in Pembrokeshire, West Wales between 11th and 12th May.
For the second year running, the free to enter Celtic Ale Festival combines some great medieval fun and adventures with great Welsh ales, ciders and beverages – making a perfect weekend.
The Tournament Field will come alive with The Collegiate of the Knights Templars demonstrating interactive combat displays, falconry displays and live entertainment – as well as their very own Knight’s School for those who dare.
They will be joined by Knights of Arkley, demonstrating the art of jousting.
Then there are taster sessions in trebuchet, clay shooting, long bow, catapult, cross bow and other medieval activities to challenge visitors of all ages over two days of fun.
For those who want to try something different, Bluestone will also have on hand demonstrations on blacksmithing, wood turning and pottery.
“Last year’s Celtic Ale Festival was a great success and we wanted to build on that and have introduced some new aspects and arrangements that will make it an even greater two-day medieval experience,” said Yvonne Buckingham, Head of Marketing at Bluestone.
“There literally is something for everyone. From the fun-packed activities to the selection of Welsh ales, ciders and beverages, including a hog roast.”
