New Year’s Day always provides the problem of what to do – recover, go for a walk or carry on celebrating while breaking a few new years’ resolutions.
So the Blue Lagoon water park at Bluestone National Park Resort, near Narberth is offering a fun-packed family 1930s style pool party on the 1st January 2013?
Following last year’s successful event, guests can get into some 1930s style fun with a whole day of events and activities for family and friends, including the chance to win some great prizes, including a short break at Bluestone.*
Get into costume, or just join in the fun, from duck racing, name that tune, race to the pontoon, a men’s flume race and a water walking competition to name just a few.
And the Blue Lagoon, decked out 1930s style, will also be searching for Miss Bluestone with a chance to win an off-peak break here at Bluestone.
“New Year’s Day can be one of those days when you just don’t know what to do. Whether it’s recovering from the celebrations or finishing off the Christmas turkey. So why not get up and get out for some great family fun,” said David Crews, Manager at the Blue Lagoon.
“It’s a great day and a great way for the family to recover from the New Year party with some great fun and games, aqua style,” said David Crews, Blue Lagoon manager.
The day starts at 10.30am, so plenty of time to have a lie-in, and the party carries on until 4pm with the Blue Lagoon continuing into the evening session.
