Bluestone is a new generation holiday village, comprising 178 luxury timber lodges set around a newly-built but traditionally-designed village boasting restaurants, shops, a pub, a wine bar and a superb holistic spa. There’s also the Adventure Centre and our sister attraction, the amazing Blue Lagoon waterpark.

Naturally, a project this size needs a lot of people to keep it running smoothly. Four hundred in fact. And that’s just for the first phase. When we add more accommodation and the snow centre, we’ll need over 700.

Security Supervisors
The safety and security of our guests, employees, visitors and company assets is paramount to the success of the business. We currently have vacancies within the Security Department for Security Supervisors. The successful candidate will have excellent personal presentation, be physically fit and have previous experience of working in a similar environment. In addition you will hold a current SIA Licence and full, clean UK Driving Licence and ideally be First Aid trained. The ability to work to a flexible rota system which is currently based on a 4 days on, 4 days off rota pattern is required.

Sales & Reservations Consultants
Bluestone is looking for enthusiastic, customer focused, professional Sales & Reservations Consultants to establish guest contacts over the telephone and by email. You will be required to convert and complete sales and update the reservations systems with booking details. Excellent product knowledge is key to this role to promote all products as is the need to be articulate and an outstanding communicator to be able to take the guest on an auditory journey to create an enchanting mental picture that is commensurate with Bluestone’s offering. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in converting sales, will have an eye for details and excellent customer relations skills.

Human Resources Officer
Bluestone requires a Human Resources Officer to join the dynamic HR department. We are looking for an individual who has previous experience of working in a similar role. The role will include setting up employee's files and processing leaver and starter documentation and inputting employee data in to the system. The role will also include producing offer letters, contracts and other general correspondence including preparing reference letters, and proof reading all documentation. The role also includes providing advice on policies & procedures and ensuring compliance with employment law legislation. The successful candidate will assist with the organisation of training events by liaising with suppliers and ensuring the events are successfully coordinated. General administrative duties are to be carried out on a day-to-day basis including filing, answering the telephone, photocopying documents in preparation for induction and training events and assisting with the issue of uniform. Previous experience in HR Administration is a must for this role as is the ability to successfully use mail merging, carry out basic reporting and letter writing and knowledge of HR databases/systems. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, be able to communicate at all levels, have excellent grammar and spelling, be IT literate and competent in using MS Office and Explorer. A keen attention to details is key. This is a full time role and may require some evening and weekend working.

Housekeeping Assistants: Evening Team and Changeover Team
The Bluestone housekeeping team pride themselves on achieving high standards of cleanliness across the resort. We are now introducing an evening team of housekeepers to maintain these standards. They will be required to work from 5pm – 10pm five days out of seven on a rota basis. In addition there are shifts available from 09:30 to 15:30 on both a Monday and a Friday on the changeover days.

Food & Beverage Supervisors
A current vacancy exists for a F&B Supervisor to work as part of an assigned team/outlet to ensure that high standards are achieved both in the provision of food and beverage served and the customer service experience of the guests. 

Food & Beverage Kitchen Porter
Bluestone have opportunities for Kitchen Porters across the five large kitchens that service the resort restaurants. The successful candidate will maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchens and associated areas as directed and clean equipment and utensils used in food preparation and service to the required standard. You will ensure all equipment used or stored within the kitchen and associated areas is in a clean and safe condition reporting defects as appropriate. You will dispose of rubbish and waste as directed. You will use and maintain the dishwasher. You will also be required to assist in the preparation of food items. Bluestone's operate over 7 days a week across breakfast, lunch and dinner service and therefore this role requires evening and weekend work. Full and part time positions are available.

Chefs / Cooks
Bluestone has a variety of busy restaurants, bars and eating out venues, from fine dining to fast food.  We therefore require chefs and cooks of all abilities.  These are permanent full time positions, however, we would consider part time and flexible working.

Spa Therapists
Our holistic spa, The Well, is one of the jewels in the Bluestone crown. Superbly appointed, it has a thermal suite of saunas and steam rooms, and no fewer than 15 rooms in which guests can enjoy treatments by leading product houses, Murad, Terrake and Espa. The Well is a premium establishment and we need therapists appropriately dedicated to excellence. Minimum qualification is an NVQ Level III in Beauty Therapy or equivalent holistic therapies with facials experience.

There are a number of opportunities for university / college students at Bluestone for both paid and unpaid work placements.

We also work closely with Careers Wales and are happy to accept work experience students.

Activities Assistants
Bluestone has a whole host of on-site activities that appeal to guests of all age ranges. The Under 12s have a programme of activities that include an off road safari and Junior Rangers. Under 6s enjoy a range of activities from Teddy Bears' Picnics to arts and crafts sessions.

Demand for these activities is greatest during the school holidays and weekends, and so Bluestone is looking for seasonal staff to compliment our existing team.

Applicants will have experience of working within a child play / sporting environment and a minimum Level II or equivalent in Childcare. A sporting or coaching qualification is also desirable.

Qualified Lifeguards
Ideally candidates will hold a current NPLQ qualification or equivalent and have had relevant experience of working within a fun family pool environment.

Food & Beverage Assistants
No previous experience is required for the seasonal Food & Beverage Assistant position as full training will be given.

Retail Assistants
No previous experience is required for the seasonal Retail Assistant position as full training will be given.

Housekeeping Assistants
No previous experience is required for the seasonal Housekeeping Assistant position as full training will be given.
