Our thermal and cooling experiences will leave you feeling relaxed and revitalised, the perfect preparation for a treatment. We have saunas, steam rooms and marine based experiences, plus cooler options to refresh.

There are long traditions with all of this. The oldest known saunas were pits dug in a slope in the ground. Our saunas are a little more sophisticated than that, and nobody will be swatting you with birch either! Heat induces relaxation and promotes sweating, whilst the ‘wet heat’ of the steam rooms also encourages heat stress detoxification (hyperthermia to be technical) - the perfect antidote to excesses at the Tafarn the night before.

If you’ve loved inhaling the sea air along the Pembrokeshire coast, continue the health benefits with our salt rooms, based on monks’ ancient practice of breathing in the atmosphere of salt caves.

Keep in mind we don’t vow to cure you and no bringing your own vinegar either. With polar bears a serious rarity at Bluestone, you’ll be able to cool, close your pores and refresh your senses in the ice room. Showers and wet jets cleanse, manipulate and sooth the skin and superficial muscles, providing pressure and massage – though not quite as sensitively as our therapists.
