The Marketing Practice - Bluestone Games 2013
We booked our corporate event over 4 days in order to take advantage of everything that Bluestone had to offer.
In planning the event we worked very closely with Melanie Sharrad-Hughes (Corporate & Events Manager) who took on board every single request we asked her. We had a lot of bespoke requests from special dietary requirements to place card and menu arrangements.
Mel dealt with each and every one of them superbly.
Mel worked with us step by step to ensure that all elements of the event order had been covered, giving us peace of mind prior to our arrival.
Before the arrival of the entire group we arranged one last meeting on check in to ensure everything was as it should be, this worked really well for us, and of course, we were pleased that everything was as we had hoped.
Our 4 day stay started with a ‘Purple Rain’ cocktail reception which was a great start to the break.
During the 4 days we made use of the Zip Wire course down in the Steep Ravine before enjoying an evening in Camp Smokey with food, drink and music and dancing. A great way to start our stay.
We also enjoyed meals at the Wildwood Cafe. We totally changed the look and feel of the cafe for an evening, creating a more adult space.
The band recommended by Mel and her team were a huge hit and the disco was fantastic, getting everyone dancing.
The activity team were superb and worked exceptionally hard for us, especially during our activity day on the Tournament Field.
We’ve created lots of stories and experiences that our staff will be talking about for years to come – it was everything we hoped it would be.
Many thanks, Bluestone; we hope to see you again soon.
