Junior Rangers Club
Families love Bluestone. There are so many activities and mini
adventures for the family to experience together. Sometimes,
though, it’s best for everyone if parents and children go their
separate ways for just a little while!
If you’d like to make sure your children are kept occupied and
out of mischief, then why not book them
a couple of hours at our Junior Rangers Club? Here they’ll be in
the care of professionally qualified
and experienced staff, and kept amused with a whole host of
age-appropriate activities. To be a Junior Ranger you must be
aged 5 up to 9 years, and ready for adventure!
There will be lots of exciting indoor and outdoor
activities such as face-painting, arts & crafts using seeds,
leaves and recycled materials, bug n grub hunting, making bird
feeders and insect houses, interactive games and
story-telling. But here is where we are different – our emphasis is
on the
outside world.
We want the children to get outdoors and get active, bring them
back to what childhood is all about. They will have the opportunity
to explore the woodland and surrounding countryside to find out
about
the animals and plants that live there whilst making new friends
and having loads of fun.
Here they can play freely whilst learning about nature in a
safe, car free and stimulating environment.
Our staff are specially trained and will come to
be known by all the children as their Ranger Leaders. They
will be kept busy with a wide variety of nature activities
including such things as collecting leaves and deciding which tree
that particular leaf came from and moving wood and
finding out what sort of bugs live under it.
But don’t worry it’s not a lesson. It’s a chance for your little
ones to learn, have fun and go exploring
in nature. They will thoroughly enjoy their time as Junior
Rangers and will return with all sorts of interesting and
exciting facts for you!
Be warned though, they will come back dirty -
and happy... and very tired!
