People want time together as Bluestone reports bumper Easter Bank Holiday
Despite the recent freezing weather conditions affecting other parts of the UK, Bluestone National Park Resort in Pembrokeshire, West Wales, reported 100 per cent occupancy for the Easter Bank Holiday, saying people wanted to get away and enjoy what time they could together.
Pembrokeshire has bucked the UK weather trend with sunshine and dry conditions over recent days and no snow to contend with. This is due to its micro-climate and the warm air from the Atlantic.
But Bluestone also claims people simply want to escape the winter weather at home and get away together to enjoy a quality Easter break.
Pamela Joseph, Commercial Director of Bluestone National Park Resort, said: “We’re fully occupied for the Bank Holiday weekend and bookings for the rest of the Easter holidays are looking very good. We’re seeing a good mix of first time and returning guests.
“People simply want to escape for some quality time and getting somewhere where they can walk on the coastal path, cycle around some great countryside and spend quality time together is what matters.”
Pamela added: “We’ve also launched a new free range Tree House activity over the Easter period which was developed as a result of our social media followers and this has caused a lot of interest from returning guests.”
