The Tourism
Minister, Rhodri Glyn Thomas, has had an opportunity to have a
sneak preview of the Bluestone experience.
During his tour of the development with Chief
Executive of Bluestone, William McNamara, the Minister was one of
the first people to see inside a Skomer, the flagship lodge in
Bluestone’s range of luxury accommodation.
Rhodri Glyn Thomas, said: “It’s very exciting
to see the Bluestone project and to have a tour of the site with
William McNamara whose vision has driven this project from the
outset. Bluestone will play a pivotal role in developing the
short breaks market, expanding the tourism season and bring added
value to the market. I wish the team well in the final
stages of the development and look forward to coming back in the
summer”.
Chief Executive of Bluestone, William
McNamara, said: “It’s taken a long time and a lot of work to reach
where we are today, just a few months away from opening.
“It’s hugely gratifying and exciting for me to
see the Bluestone vision finally come to fruition, but there’s no
real let-up for us. All our energy is now focused on making sure
that for our guests, the Bluestone experience is everything we
always wanted it to be.”
