VAUGHANS, the family-run electrical retailers, is the latest
local company to benefit from the
Bluestone effect.
The Haverfordwest-based company is supplying all the television
sets, DVD players, microwaves, kettles and toasters which will go
in Bluestone’s range of luxury accommodation.
As Bluestone will boast 182 lodges, 30 cottages and 17 studios
when it opens this summer, that totals around a thousand items.
Bluestone chief executive William McNamara said: “Naturally,
we’re very pleased to support local businesses in this way.
Vaughan’s were able to offer a very competitive deal, but their
famously excellent service was the deciding factor.
Alun Vaughan, director of Vaughans, said: “We’re very proud to
be associated with Bluestone.
“I always felt that with the amount of new visitors it would
attract to the county, Bluestone was going to be great for
Pembrokeshire. I’m very pleased that local businesses are already
benefiting from the development, and that Vaughans can play a part
in ensuring the project’s success.”
