Pembrokeshire has some of the most spectacular beaches and coastline not just in Wales, but throughout the UK – that’s why so many people choose short break holidays here at Bluestone in West Wales as a base to visit the area.

And now a poll has confirmed yet again how our golden sandy beaches are loved so much by visitors. Media Wales undertook a poll of Wales’ beaches and out of the top 20, seven are in Pembrokeshire – with Barafundle Bay at the top.

It comes after National Geographic named Pembrokreshire’s coast the second best in the world.

The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park has some of the most stunning landscapes, with a mix of the inland countryside, with the myriad of country lanes, castles, villages and scenery, to the spectacular coastline with its secluded beaches, quaint harbours and breathtaking walks, including the Pembrokeshire Coast Path which now forms an integral part of the Wales Coast Path.

It’s another reason for enjoying a luxury short break holiday at Bluestone. Guests not only get to have free range fun and relaxation throughout the resort, with our adrenalin fuelled fun activities at the Steep Ravine and the Tournament Field, to a wide range of children’s fun activities and all-weather fun at the Blue Lagoon water park and Adventure Centre – and not forgetting the relaxing times at The Well Spa.

But they also get to stay in what is one of the most spectacular part’s of the UK and on the doorstep of some of the most stunning coastline and scenery you can find.
