After being awarded their Gold Corporate Health Standard in April 2018, Bluestone National Park Resort are continuing their efforts with their Employee Wellness Programme.

From exercise classes and nutritional guidance, to mindfulness and mental health support, these are just a few of the Wellbeing provisions that staff at Bluestone are able to access since the programme was launched in 2016.

The annual Wellbeing event was held on the 22nd of June in the Village Hall at the resort and all staff were invited to attend. The resort’s sports teams were there to showcase their achievements and encourage new members to join. There were representatives from local support groups too, including Health Assured, Help me Quit and Time to Change with whom Bluestone signed a pledge within 2017 to help tackle Mental Health Stigma in the workplace.

Amanda Griffiths, Bluestone’s Health and Wellbeing Advisor said, “It’s been great to follow the progress of those who started on their Wellbeing with us two years ago. The enthusiasm for the programme is continuing to grow all the time and that’s evident with the number that we saw at our 2018 event.”

The Employee Wellbeing Programme is available to all staff at Bluestone. To find out more about the other benefits of joining the team, and to see if there’s a vacancy to suit you click here.
