Caroline Harrison Releases Debut Album 'Beyond The Darkened Sky'

By Megan Tapper Caroline Harrison

She’s been compared to the likes of indie outfit Passenger and Californian rock chicks HAIM, but Pembrokeshire’s very own Caroline Harrison is making waves with her unique brand of nostalgic acoustic pop.

Her debut EP, “Beyond The Darkened Sky” is released today on iTunes after 18 months of production and Caroline, who has worked in front of house at Bluestone for four years, couldn’t be happier: “I’ve been writing and performing for years; it’s something I’ve always loved to do, so the release of my first EP is truly an exciting time. We recorded and produced the album in Stockholm, giving my trademark sound a Scandinavian pop sprinkle.”

Following a 15-date tour of the UK, including Smooth Radio’s ‘Live at the Waterfront’ in Liverpool to an audience of 30,000, Caroline is back in her homeland of Pembrokeshire to promote the album.

“I performed my single live on Radio Pembrokeshire this morning and I’m also looking forward to playing at the Musician’s World one-year anniversary in Haverfordwest at The Tiddly on 5th July – so it’s shaping up to be a very busy summer!”
