Discover Tylwyth Teg and the Light Thingy at Bluestone

By Kathryn Slade Light Thingy Bugs

If you go down to the nature trail today you’re sure of a great surprise! On your walk you’ll head down a willow tunnel and immerge in another world on the nature trail. A world that’s home to giant snails, huge beetles, and a community of very shy fairies.

Light Thingy Tunnel
It’s a wonder filled walk which is suitable for the whole family. As you wind down into the village you will pass The Dragon’s Nest, hear its steady breaths but be careful not to wake her as you pass.

Then head to the village where every half an hour there is a special lightshow projected on the walls of the Knights Tafarn, which tells a story about dragons, humans and fairies.

From here it’s about a 500 metre walk along the Nature Trail where you’ll be greeted by two foxes who will usher you along your way to wonder into Tylwyth Teg!

As you wander along the trail beneath the glow of the fire flies that fill the air, you’ll hear the sounds of animals and, if you are lucky, even the chitter chatter of fairies.
