Our beautiful resort is a place for families, friends, and loved ones to enjoy spending time together. In our world of a "new normal" there have been some changes made and measures introduced to make sure we all enjoy ourselves, safely.
Time for Free Range fun!
Bluestone is open once more and we can't wait until you're here again, enjoying amazing adventures at our wonderful Pembrokeshire resort. We're following guidance from the Welsh Government about what we can and can't currently offer you and on this page, you can find all the latest information.
Health and Safety Measures
Wales is now at alert level zero and you will be expected to abide by Welsh Government restrictions while on the resort. We request that guests continue to wear face coverings in indoor public areas and in close contact areas. There may also be some close contact activities where we require guests to wear a face-covering – this is for the protection of both our guests and our colleagues. When you are required and not required to wear a facemask will be made clear to you, and we strongly advise carrying a facemask whenever you are on the resort.
This is an everchanging situation and we’ll do our best to keep guests up-to-date when we have guidance, regarding specific areas of the resort. It is important that guests also stay up-to-date with the latest information and guidance. During your stay please check the Digital Welcome Pack for the most up-to-date information and if you have any further questions, Guest Services can offer you help or assistance.
Changes on Resort
The Land Train
Unfortunately, the Land Train is not be running, due to guidance around public transport in Wales. But, don't worry! You can still easily get around the resort by bike and buggies, which are available for hire.
We won't be accepting cash at the resort during your stay. All transactions will be done via card payment and please be aware that there are no longer cash machines on the resort.
In order to monitor who is on the resort, and ensure adequate social distancing, we will not be permitting day visitors to Bluestone until further notice.
Access to Resort
Guests will still be able to arrive at the resort from 11 am on arrival day and stay until 3 pm on departure day. This, as with all our measures, will be monitored and may be subject to change.
Resort Areas: Latest Update
The Blue Lagoon Water Park
We are pleased to confirm that the Blue Lagoon Water Park is now open! There are some important changes for you to be aware of for your stay, including the following measures that are in place:
Measures in place (From August 7th 2021)
- Limited entry is available every 15 minutes - this is due to reduced capacity.
- Ninety-minute time slots are based on your time of arrival. There is no limit on the number of sessions for your stay.
- Spectators will not be permitted.
- Waiting times will be displayed on arrival at the Blue Lagoon and across Bluestone to keep our guests informed and updated (please see below).
- Social distancing and enhanced cleaning will be in place throughout the facility. It is important that you follow the advice and guidance of Blue Lagoon team members at all times.
- Please limit the number of items you bring with you on your visit. Towels and personal items must be kept in your locker which is free of charge and can be found on the poolside.
- Please arrive already wearing your swimwear under your clothes. Showers will be available on exit from the pool.
- The spa pool, flumes, lazy river, and water cannons will be operational.
- The indoor spa pool and wave machine will remain closed and will be kept under constant review.
Blue Lagoon entry: How it will work
The Blue Lagoon will have limited availability every 15 minutes. Once guests join the queue/arrive each guest will be given a coloured band which is required to gain entry, our queue busters will be on hand to give estimated times of swims and update on all the changes in the Blue Lagoon, to make our guests entry and exit a smooth one.
Band entry example: 09:00am red band entry, 10:30am red band wearers will be asked to leave the pool area.
To help our guests decide when they’d like to swim, we’ve created a colour-coded system for our busy and quiet times (subject to the time of year, opening times may differ):
- 08:30am – 12:00 midday - High capacity /busy / queues expected
- 12:15 midday – 3:30pm – Intermediate / queues expected
- 3:45pm – 5:00pm – Medium / steady flowing queues
- 5:15pm – 8:30pm - Low / small queues / steady access
All other steps remain the same and opening times for later in the year, as well as all the operational measures above, remain under constant review.
We are excited that guests will be able to make the most of the pool during their stay - while maintaining the highest levels of guest safety and well-being. Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions in advance of your stay, or while you are with us at the resort.
You can enjoy quality, family time under the UK's biggest umbrella, where you'll find Water Play, Sand Play, and an array of food outlets.
Outdoor play areas, including the Village playground, Tree Tots Treehouse, Water Play, and Sand Play, will all be open for children to enjoy.
Nature Trails and Cycle Routes
The Nature Trail, and cycle and walking routes through our wonderful resort will be open for you to enjoy. Spring is a great time to get outdoors and enjoy the beauty of nature, so make sure you take full advantage of the countryside around Bluestone.
Food and Beverage
There are a number of options available including indoor and outdoor dining, takeaway, and delivery so whatever you fancy, we've got something for you.
If you want to dine indoors the Oak Tree Restuarant, Farmhouse Grill, and Knights Tafarn are available to enjoy hearty and delicious meals, as well as Ty Coffi in the village, which is open for coffees, snacks, and treats, Camp Smokey is also open and is perfect for a relaxing meal in the middle of our ancient forest.
Take advantage of the spring sunshine and enjoy outdoor dining, with no booking required, at The Knights Tafarn, Serendome's Terraces, and Bar-o-Meter. Takeaway drinks and food are also available across the resort including the Serendome's Garden Box and The Chippy food truck where you can enjoy delicious Pembrokeshire fish and chips.
If you don't fancy heading out for food, our wonderful Oak Tree Restaurant will be available for takeaway and delivery, so you can enjoy mouthwatering Italian dishes in the comfort of your accommodation.

The Well Spa Retreat
You can now look forward to some rest and relaxation in our oasis of tranquility! The Well Spa is open with treatments and Thermal Suite open for your enjoyment, book yours now!
Our village shop will be open and fully stocked for all your essential items. Our other retail outlets including the Emporium and Giftorium are also open and ready to be enjoyed!
Blue Lagoon Extras
While the Blue Lagoon Water Park is closed, the Fish Shack, Wave retail outlet, and Blue Lagoon Cafe all remained closed for the current time.
We are offering a range of exciting activities that are perfect for enjoying the great outdoors. All activities are available to book via Plan Your Stay. Health and safety measures will be explained at the start of each session. We ask you to please bring facemasks with you to any activity or entertainment, just in case they're required for part of the session.
