Bluestone National Park Resort appoints new Operations Director

Bluestone has invested in a new senior management position responsible for the daily operations of the Pembrokeshire-based resort.

The new leadership position is critical in underpinning business growth and innovation including the exciting new Serendome, the UK’s largest umbrella offering guests a range of outdoor activities protected from the weather.

After an extensive and rigorous recruitment process that attracted over a hundred candidates from across the UK and internationally, a home-grown business talent from Pembrokeshire has been selected.

Speaking of the appointment, CEO William McNamara said: "We are delighted to announce the appointment of Rebecca Rigby as Director of Operations. Rebecca previously worked at Bluestone over 8 years ago and is an inspirational example of someone who has taken the opportunity to develop and further her career.

Through her role within the National Trust; Rebecca lead the development and growth of their commercial business across Wales and delivered a programme of operational efficiencies and investment. Rebecca now returns home to Bluestone bringing with her fresh ideas, new skills, and the energy to lead our internal mission for operational excellence."

Rebecca went on to comment; “It is a dream come true to return to Bluestone at a time when there are so many exciting projects underway, I feel like I have returned to my family and I am honoured to be part of the next chapter of this amazing business”.

Rebecca starts her new position on October 7th.
