Take a UK summer break at Bluestone next July and August

Pembrokeshire is stunning all year round but especially so in the Summer. The Bluestone resort becomes lit in the hazy sunshine and decorated with the pinks and purples of wild flowers. The views of the Preseli Mountains are clearer than ever and the Bluestone wildlife is in abundance. The Bluestone Lake comes alive with all of our fun activities from kayaking to the traditional art of navigating your way around in a coracle.


Enjoy tasty lunches on the terrace of the village pub, or barbequed treats down at Camp Smokey our forest diner. There are over 100 activities to choose from including the incredible adrenaline fuelled fun there is to be had on the High Ropes, Sky Wires and tree climbing courses of the Steep Ravine forest. It will be a tough choice to drag yourself away from the resort, but should you wish to there’s a myriad of culture to be enjoy just around the corner as Bluestone sits within an easy distance from some of the most beautiful beaches, castles and boutique towns in the entire UK.

4x4 Safari Driving

There are two fantastic new courses which challenge, excite and prepare the young ones for the future ahead. However, it is not your average run of the mill track. Amazing new features including narrow roads fenced in with fallen logs, hills, different levels, reversing bays, rickety bridges, willow tunnels and even a see-saw to drive over.(Must be aged 6-11)

Owl and Smokey Joe Interactive

An afternoon you simply cannot miss set in the heart of the Steep Ravine. Join Smokey Joe on his quirky adventures in his wilderness playground playing woodland games, solving puzzles and learning wacky survival tips! All topped off with a stunning display from plop the owl – a real insight into the great work of Pembrokeshire Falconry.

Smokey Joe Panning for gold

Smokey Joe – the discoverer of this gold mine has created a regular gold panning slot in order to share his wonderful discovery and ensure that each and every participant gets to leave with their own little nugget of gold, of course you have to work for buried treasure, so our experienced panning guides will teach children how to sieve through the rough in order to find the good stuff.

Out and about

At Bluestone you’ll be just a short drive from stunning coastlines including Tenby and Saundersfoot. And just four and a half miles from the quaint town of Narberth where you can enjoy boutique shopping and watch the world go by from coffee shops and food bars. Purchase any of your picnic needs from Bluestone’s own village shop Newton Stores, or even a disposable barbeque to on the terrace of your lodge.
