Ospreys staff enjoy an action-packed teambuild at Bluestone
Management from Ospreys Rugby, based at the Liberty Stadium in Llandore, Swansea, enjoyed a free-range team building day in the wild at Bluestone National Park Resort on Wednesday, 2nd July.
Some 50 members of staff were taken down through the forest to Bluestone’s woodland outdoor activity area, Steep Ravine, where they were met by the resort’s skilled activity instructors for a quick introduction and split into two groups.
The groups then took it in turns to partake in a host of fun activities. The tasks included shelter building using the available resources in the forest, making a fire using only flint, dry twigs and determination, and tackling the tyres and ropes of the challenging assault course on the Tournament Field.
After a fun-filled day of wild outdoor pursuits, the group headed back down the boardwalk to Camp Smokey, Bluestone’s rustic outdoor dining experience, for a delicious barbecue lunch in the forest.
Wayne Hall, Head of Sales at Ospreys Rugby, says: “We had a great day; fun activities, professional staff, good food and most of all wonderful facilities! All of the staff at Ospreys Rugby look forward to working with Bluestone again soon.”
Claire Lewis, Sales and Reservation Manager, says: “We were delighted to welcome the Ospreys staff to Bluestone and provide them with their ideal team building day – outdoorsy and energetic. It’s a perfect break away from the office and the chance to do something really different.”
Bluestone is the ultimate location for business events; whether it’s a dozen staff on a motivational break or a 1000-person conference.
