Before you pick your accommodation it’s worth considering the different breaks we’ve designed to cater for young children.
The three-night Weekend Break or four-night Midweek Break is ideal for one of your first holidays away as a family. Take a look at breaks for toddlers at Bluestone here. Two Bedroom Cottage
The ideal solution for families experiencing one of their first very special holidays together. Our cottages are all located in the Village area, so you’re right by the shops - perfect if you need to make a last minute dash for anything crucial you might have forgotten!
The Two Bedroom Cottage is open plan with a double room and a bunk room. The minimum age for children on the bottom bunk is two and the top bunk is six - remember our cottages come with travel cots as standard.
The children's bedrooms in our cottages have been lovingly made over recently - with new deluxe bespoke-made bunks, funky carpets and thoughtful touches such as our owl lamps, balloon lights and fox mosaic mirrors. Have a look at the pictures below.
The cottages all have a well-equipped kitchen, dining area (with high chair) and a super cosy and comfortable lounge to relax in with everything you need for a stress-free self-catering break. You’re just a stone’s throw from all the facilities and amenities the Village offers including restaurants, café and the pub - the play areas will be an instant attraction for the little ones (including the Treetots area specially created for user 5s).
If you’d like your accommodation to be a bit larger and set near our forest, lake and countryside then a Caldey Lodge is ideal. It has one double room and one twin room with a kitchen, dining and living room area. There’s an outdoor patio for eating outside in the sunshine with enough space for the young ones to roam while you can easily keep an eye on them.
It’s all set on one single floor so you won’t have to worry about toddlers on stairs. High chairs and travel cots are included as per all our lodges and cottages. You’ll find the kitchen well-equipped with modern utilities such as a dishwasher and microwave with a flat screen TV in the living area.
The bathrooms in the Caldey Lodges are either wet rooms or shower cubicles, make it really easy to clean up after a day of adventuring!
Welcome to upside down living! Our Ramsey Lodges are a little unusual but young children absolutely love them. Uniquely, the bedrooms are all found on the bottom floor while upstairs you’ll find an open plan living area and modern fitted kitchen.
The bedrooms both come with en-suite bathrooms and one has a bath - there’s a double and a twin so perfect for a couple with two little ones. The lodge is detached with all the usual green space and a patio area to play on around it. Inside it’s crammed full of the modern amenities that you would expect from a Bluestone lodge.
Bathrooms: 2 en-suite
