Your Luxury Base For Adventure

If you want a base to explore everything Bluestone and Pembrokeshire has to offer, then you're going to need to find the right kind of accommodation. At Bluestone we have a range of different syles to suit your needs. From studio apartments, right up to the Dinas Bunkhouse - sleeping 14 there's bound to be something to suit even the most adventurous groups.

The one thing all our accommodation styles have in common is space!

The rooms are big, ceilings are high and there's more than enough space for everyone to spend time together - and disappear for quiet moments. Modern settings and appliances make it easy to settle in quickly - no nonsense or fuss if you're eager to get out exploring and we've made sure everyone has a seat at the table and a space on the sofa. You'll need it to rest your weary legs after a day out.

Best of all, there are bike racks for each lodge outside and enough room at the entrance ways so you can get out of your muddy clothes without needing to come right into your accommodation. (If you're not sure this matters now, you wait until you return home head-to-toe in mud!)

Here's our top recommendations.

The Caldey Lodge

Our log-cabin style lodges have been lovingly designed with families in mind, with open-plan living and a stylish, modern interior that makes them the ideal base for exploring. Our Caldey Lodges are dotted around our resort, with plenty in close proximately to our most popular indoor and outdoor activities.

You’ll find lots clustered around the path down to the Steep Ravine - where thrill-seekers can pilgrimage to our Tree Climbing, High Ropes course and heart-stopping Sky Wire. Plus you can do battle as Woodland Warriors and dine under the stars while you dance the night away at Camp Smokey.

The Lodges are have one double room and one twin room with a kitchen, dining and living room area. There’s an outdoor patio for eating outside in the sunshine with enough space for the young ones to roam while you can easily keep an eye on them. It’s all set on one single floor so you won’t have to worry about toddlers on stairs. High chairs and travel cots are included as per all our lodges and cottages.

You’ll find the kitchen well-equipped with modern utilities such as a dishwasher and microwave with a flat screen TV in the living area. The bathrooms in the Caldey Lodges are either wet rooms or shower cubicles, make it really easy to clean up after a day of adventuring.

If you’re a bigger family then take a look at the Caldey Connect lodges, which can sleep up to eight.

The Ramsey Lodge

Near our Lake you’ll find a collection of our beautiful Ramsey Lodges - unique at Bluestone for their ‘upside down living’ concept. The bedrooms are all found on the bottom floor while upstairs you’ll find an open plan living area and modern fitted kitchen.

There are plenty located along Bartholomew Rise, Forest View and Knight’s Rest - all ideal spots to venture into our Nature Trails. You’ll also be near the Lake (some come with tranquil lakeside views to wake up to) where you can revel in our water-themed activities such as Paddle Boarding, Kayaking and the competitive Family Raft Wars.

The Lake is also where you’ll find Ranger HQ, the base for the Bluestone Free Rangers. Our Rangers will lead children into the great outdoors with days full of activities away from screens and immersed in nature and free range fun.

Inside the Ramsey Lodges, The bedrooms both come with en-suite bathrooms and one has a bath - there’s a double and a twin so perfect for a couple with two little ones. The lodge is detached with all the usual green space and a patio area to play on around it.

Inside it’s crammed full of the modern amenities that you would expect from a Bluestone lodge. Both the Ramsey and Caldey lodges are also located close to the Tournament Field and Adventure Centre - with everything from Axe Throwing to Soft Play on offer.

The Skomer Lodge

If there’s six of you, a Skomer Lodge might be the better option. They have more space and a ‘cwtch’ area (Welsh for cuddle) for the kids to hide away in (and maybe unwind after a day of activities). It’s fully detached with lots of space around the lodge for children to play in and warm up for the day’s adventures.

The Skomer Lodges are placed around the resort with lots placed in close reach of the Lake and Village areas. The Village is where you’ll find the hub of the resort and our Booking Office for scheduling all your activities.

Inside the Skomer Lodges you’ll find a lovely modern kitchen and living space underneath a beautiful mezzanine area and balcony - including the popular kids ‘cwtch’ area with their own private TV. The three bedrooms (two twins, one double) and bathroom are up here as well.
