Camp Smokey

If you go down to the woods today you’ll be in for a great surprise.

As well as fun and frolics there’s magic in disguise...
A whole range of experiences can be enjoyed at Camp Smokey our rustic woodland diner that is so much more than a gorgeous place to enjoy great food and marshmallows around a camp fire – it is that of course, and that’s great but within the world of Camp Smokey there is a hidden gold mine to be discovered by our younger guests.

Please Note: Food & Drink unavailable on a Monday or Friday. Camp Smokey is closed between October Half Term 2019 and February Half Term 2020.

Outdoor dining with a difference

The perfect venue to enjoy delicious smoked dishes all cooked to sizzling perfection right before your eyes and to watch friends and family flying overhead (mostly screaming) on zip wires.

Steep Ravine

In the midst of towering pines, the hillside falls away steeply to a glinting stream. Welcome to Steep Ravine. Our high ropes, tree climbing and zip wires (60ft up!) are designed to thrill and at Base Camp we have activities that bring younger ones closer to nature. They’ll come away with a healthy respect for the countryside and prepare them for a good night’s sleep.

  • My personal favourite was visiting Camp Smokey relaxing outside next to a fire to the sound of Cajun music - great stuff
