Although our brilliant team has been hard at work getting everything back to normal, the Steep Ravine and Camp Smokey areas will remain closed for the time being as we continue to assess the impact of the storms on the trees and surrounding areas to ensure everyone’s safety.

Nestled at the bottom of Steep Ravine with a babbling brook coursing by on either side is Camp Smokey, a place to enjoy outdoor dining with a difference.

It is the perfect venue to enjoy delicious smoked dishes all cooked to sizzling perfection right before your eyes and to watch friends and family flying overhead on zip wires.

Some call it outdoor, indoor dining, others a log cabin restaurant - we don't mind either way. Camp Smokey is what you make it, a stop off on a walk, in between activities or a destination for lunch - but booking is definitely advisable!

The atmosphere is relaxed and we're pretty easy-going about who gets invited to lunch - you might even find a few feathered friends dropping in.

We keep it simple down at Camp Smokey with barbecue food and family

favourites all with tempting sides.
