May Half Term Activities

Spring is in full bloom during the half-term break and Bluestone is brimming with exciting things to do. Get out in the forest or splash about on the lake - whatever you love, we've got something to keep you entertained.

The Steep Ravine

Escape to the forest and get lost among the tree tops at the Steep Ravine, our very own woodland adventure zone. Here you can take on the Sky Wires , High Ropes, Woodland Warrior and Zip Wire or trek along one of our many nature trails. After all that excursion, give your weary legs a rest at the Camp Smokey, where you can enjoy a drink and listen to the sounds of the forest or come back for an evening shindig with Smokey Joe.

Tournament Field

Take aim and FIRE! Head to the tournament field to try your hand at archery, axe throwing and discover whether you have a talent for hitting the bulls-eye.

The Lake

There's nothing like getting out on the water and stretching your sea legs to make your break a special one. At Bluestone our peaceful, on resort lake is perfect for any skill level - from beginners to experienced paddlers - and with instructors guiding your sessions you'll be an expert in no time. Sessions for stand up paddleboarding, kayaking, family raft wars and coracle racing will be running throughout your break so join us at the lake for an afternoon in the sunshine.

That's not all that's going on..

While these are just some of the exciting things you can get up to - they're by far not the only activities you can try! With the Blue Lagoon and Adventure Centre waiting for you to visit and seasonal activities running across resort, you'll have so much to choose from during your break.

Myths and Legends

It's A Pirates Life For Me

Enjoy swashbuckling adventures and tales from the high seas this March, April and May as the Myths and Legends festival lands at Bluestone!

Led by Pembrokeshire's most legendary pirate - Captain Bartholomew Roberts - you'll uncover mystery and enchanment during your break as we explore Bluestone's dastardly past.

Remember to brush off your best sea shanty and get your swords sparkling, as we journey back in time - it's an epic adventure you won't want to miss!

Black Bart's Dinner Show

Uncover the tale of Bluestone's most famous pirate - Black Bart - and learn how the West Wales lad transformed into one of the most famous out-laws of the seven seas. Feel like one of the crew as you play galleon games, enjoy shipwreck sing-a-longs and treasure chest challenges, while helping Bart transform into Captain Bartholomew Roberts.

Craft Activities

This season you can get as close to the sea as possible - without getting wet. Create a Sea Umbrella, Seabed Kingdom and a Fish Lantern at our seasonal workshop and take home your own part of the Legends of the Sea experience.

The Legends Parade

Every Sunday and Thursday Black Bart leads his band of fearsome crew across the resort for a pAAARRRTy to remember. Taking place in the village, it's a time when all the little pirates can get together, dance a jig and swap stories of the pillaging, plundering and looting they've done during their break.
