Free Entertainment as Blue Lagoon closes for a short period of time for essential maintenance
Free shows, pool parties and events… The Blue Lagoon water park is having to undergo essential maintenance from 2pm on Wednesday, 15th June, re-opening at 7.30am on Friday, 17th June.
There's never an ideal time for this kind of work, however, we've arranged for some extra exciting entertainment and events for you to enjoy as well as extending the opening hours of the Blue Lagoon prior to closure and hosting a spectacular pool party!
Here's what we've got in store:
Additional water park opening hours
First, we're extending the opening hours of the waterpark until 9:00 pm on Monday 13th and Tuesday 14th June and hosting two amazing pool parties between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm where you'll be able to have some splashtastic fun. The parties will include music, entertainment, volleyball and beachball games and much more.
The water park will then be closed from 2:00 pm on Wednesday 15th until 7.30am on Friday 17th June.
We've also got a host of extras, free entertainment and activities for you to enjoy during this time.
These include:
- Pool parties at the Blue Lagoon 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Monday and Tuesday (13th-14th)
- Additional free shows (Treasure Islands) at the Serendome at 1.30 pm and 5:00 pm on Wednesday, 15th and 1.30 pm and 5:00 pm on Thursday 16th June. Make sure you book online or call our Sales team in advance of your stay to book as all subject to availability. Alternatively, contact Guest Services when you’re staying with us.
- Free pop-up entertainment between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm on Thursday (15th June) at the Serendome, including live music, circus skills, bubbles sessions and craft activities.
- Pool will re-open early on the Friday 17th June before you depart the resort to ensure you can end your break with a splash in the pool before your journey home.
Even though you will not have access to the Blue Lagoon for a short period of time during your break, with the addition of these events and activities, extended opening hours, and a whole host of events and activities already taking place during our Myths and Legends season, we hope will bring much more to your stay and ensure you have a break full of fun!
