Welcome to the new home of activity and play at Bluestone! The Hive is an indoor adventure centre, filled with energy, excitement, and powering a thirst for knowledge and exploration, our aim is to provide a deeper connection and create a place to learn, understand, develop and grow through play!
The Nucleus
You will enter The Hive via the Nucleus, the central nerve centre where you’ll be able to get all the important information about your visit.
Here you’ll be able to:

The Wonder Park
Wonder Park is the place to be WILD and let your mind wonder! Your experiences here will trigger emotions, thoughts, and help you explore a deeper understanding of what and how you feel. Within the park, you’ll find a mix of paid activities and free play areas. You can book activities via Plan Your Stay or with one of our Guest Services teams, including the one based in The Hive.
Activities
Adrenaline, Power Tower and Power Jump sessions run every day. These activities are token based and operate within the times below:
Adrenaline:
- Monday , Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday 10:00am - 5:00pm
- Wednesday and Saturday 10:00am - 5:30pm (4:30-5:30pm power hour)
Power Tower and Power Jump:
- Daily: 10:00am to 1:00pm & 2:00pm to 5:00pm
CLOSED between 1:00pm and 2:00pm

Adrenaline
Twist, turn, and spin your way along the Adrenaline, an aerial adventure course fuelled by gravity. Who wants to keep their feet on the ground? In this brand-new activity, we'll give you the chance to fly over all the action, as you zoom along a zip line suspended from the HIVE's roof.
Powered by gravity, there are no speed controls, so once we strap you into your harness, we'll be sending you out on the zip line and let science do the rest. You'll feel like you're flying as you soar and spin through the air, with each exhilarating trip providing you with a completely different experience.
Power Tower
The Power Tower is our new and exciting climbing wall experience, where you'll get to tackle different climbing challenges. During the session, you'll take on three different climbing walls, each varying in difficulty. All you need to succeed is a positive mind, energy in your legs, and some fighting spirit. You'll have a bit of help along the way from our instructor, who will be there to give you some help and make sure you've got all the encouragement you need to succeed.
Power Jump
A little different from our other climbing walls, Power Jump isn't for the faint-hearted. Make your climb to the platform and compose yourself for the leap of faith! Jump away from the tower and reach out for the bag suspended above The Hive floor, test your strength and see how long you can hold on, when your arms give up our super safe belay system will kick in returning you back to Earth!
Glowzone Bowling
Found at the Hive is the Glowzone, our new brilliantly bright bowling experience. With brain boggling teasers and fascinating facts adorning the illuminated walls, your mind will be kept sharp as you take on the Glowzone’s lit up lanes. Our lanes at the Glowzone are more compact than at your average bowling alley, making for an experience that's quicker and quirkier. Strikes amongst the lights are what we want at the Glowzone!
Please note: There are only 4 lanes, max 6 people per lane. And when you book, you book per lane, NOT per person!
30 minutes or 45-minute games available.
You can also engage in colourful competition with our new air hockey table!
Free Play Zones
The Play Towers

- Suitable for ages 3 to 10
When you first enter Wonder Park you’ll encounter the Play Towers, five bespoke adventure elements designed to invigorate the senses. Here you'll be free to roam, touch, slide, and climb as you explore the different challenges. The towers consist of a complex of interlinking towers with multiple slides, tubes, climbing nets, bridges, ladders, and tunnels. Make your way first to the main tower that leads to four different zones - the historic, modern, classic, and toddler zone. Each zone has been specifically designed to provoke a reaction, spark emotion, and most of all, create an area of play where freedom rules!
The Inflatable Arena: Airmaze

- Open on Monday, Thursday & Friday: 10:00am till 5:00pm
- Open on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday: 10:00am till 7:00pm
(Parental supervision is needed and the Airmaze is manned most of the time)
Harness the strength of your body to conquer the Airmaze, our giant inflatable obstacle arena. Make your way through the maze where you’ll tackle an assortment of challenges using balance, strength, and agility to stay on your feet!
The Kineticage

Unleash the power of kinetic energy at the Kineticage a multi-court arena equipped for a range of ball games from football to basketball. Get your muscles pumping and mind racing as you battle to emerge the winner. The fight is on – who will be leaving as winners? We’ll provide the balls and equipment you'll need and all you have to do is bring the energy and competitive spirit!
The NRG Lab
Fuel the fun at the NRG Lab, a unique dining experience where you can enjoy healthy fast food – all with a Bluestone twist. Walk-ins available with takeaway cold drinks available (non-alcoholic only, subject to availability).
The NRG Lab also shows all popular Sports Events on their large TV screens.
