Coronavirus Booking Guarantee

We know the future can feel uncertain, so to ensure you have peace of mind when booking a break with Bluestone, we've created the Coronavirus Booking Guarantee. This provides peace of mind, so you know when you book a break with us it's protected.

Please find details of the guarantee below. We know each case is likely to be unique, and if you have any specific questions regarding your situation please get in touch with our Reservations Team, who are ready and waiting to help you.

 

Terms and Conditions: The Details

 

• Section A of the Coronavirus Booking Guarantee applies to all existing and new 2021 and 2022 bookings made before the 16th of July 2021.

• Section B of the Coronavirus Booking Guarantee applies to breaks booked after the 16th July 2021 staying before 8th April 2022.

• Section C of the Coronavirus Booking Guarantee applies to all breaks booked between 16th July 2021 - 11th February 2022 arriving 8th April 2022 onwards.

 

 

Section A

 

 

All existing and new 2021 and 2022 bookings made before the 16th July 2021.

 

In the event of:

1. Resort closure due to Coronavirus restrictions.

2. You are unable to travel due to sickness and/or isolation due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

3. Restrictions on travel (local or national) due to the Coronavirus outbreak dictated by the UK, Welsh, Scottish or Irish Governments.

 

We guarantee at any point within the ‘guarantee window of change’ (between 21 days and 5 days prior to arrival), you can:

 

1. Transfer your holiday to new dates in 2021 or 2022. You will not be charged an amendment fee, simply emailing breakchange@bluestonewales.com with your arrival date in the subject line. 

2. Request for your booking to be moved onto a voucher if you don’t know your new dates. Where we will issue you with a voucher for the amount paid and apply it to your original booking payment against a future holiday, again free of charge.

3. Cancel your booking and receive a full refund by emailing refunds@bluestonewales.com with your arrival date in the subject line. We aim to process refunds within 28 days of your arrival date.

It is your responsibility to comply with all relevant Government regulations, be that from the UK, Welsh, Scottish or Irish Governments, which are applicable to your break.

If a Bluestone guest is known not to comply, they will be required to leave the resort.

Therefore if you are impacted by lockdown restrictions or any government-imposed self-isolation or restricted movement requirement that coincide with your break, please email Reservations@bluestonewales.com.

Terms and Conditions:

1. The ‘Guarantee Window of Change` allows any transfer or cancellation within the period of 21 days and 5 days prior to arrival.

2. Should UK/Welsh Government advice significantly change in the 5 days prior to arrival, we will reactivate the Guarantee for you.

3. It is your responsibility to comply with all relevant Government regulations, be that from the UK, Welsh, Scottish or Irish Governments, which are applicable to your break. If a Bluestone guest is known not to comply, they will be required to leave the resort. Therefore, if you are at all impacted by lockdown restrictions or any government-imposed self-isolation or restricted movement requirement that coincide with your break, please email Reservations@bluestonewales.com

4. All other booking terms and conditions remain unchanged.

5. If you choose to amend your holiday to different dates, should your new holiday be cheaper than your existing booking, you can choose to use the difference as part payment for a future holiday or have it refunded.

6. Should your new holiday be more expensive you will need to pay the difference but, you will not need to pay this until the balance is due.

7. If you choose to cancel your holiday, you can only do this by emailing refunds@bluestonewales.com. We aim to review and process refunds within 28 days of your arrival date.

8. The Coronavirus Guarantee is available until further notice.

9. Can be used in conjunction with the lowest price guarantee.

10. Voucher is valid for 12 months from the date issued. 

11. Once a booking has been cancelled it will no longer be possible to be reinstated and rebooking will be at the new current price.

 

 

Section B

 

 

Breaks booked after the 16th July 2021 staying before the 8th April 2022.
In the event of:
1. Resort closure due to Coronavirus restrictions.
2. You are unable to travel due to sickness and/or isolation due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
3. Restrictions on travel (local or national) due to the Coronavirus outbreak dictated by the UK, Welsh, Scottish or Irish Governments.

We guarantee at any point within the ‘guarantee window of change’ (between 21 days and 5 days prior to arrival), you can:

 

1. Transfer your holiday to new dates in 2021 or 2022. You will not be charged an amendment fee, simply emailing breakchange@bluestonewales.com with your arrival date in the subject line.

Section C

 

 

On all 2022 Breaks booked before February 11th 2022.

 

In the event of:

1. Resort closure due to Coronavirus restrictions.

2. Restrictions on travel (local or national) due to the Coronavirus outbreak dictated by the UK, Welsh, Scottish or Irish Governments (Government).

 

You will be able to request a free transfer or refund subject to our T&C’s

 

In the event of:

1, You have tested positive (PCR) for Covid-19 and advised by Government to self isolate over your holiday period.

2. You are required to depart early due to Government advise relating to a Coronavirus outbreak.

We guarantee at any point within the ‘guarantee window of change’ (between 21 days and 5 days prior to arrival), you can:

 

1. Transfer your holiday to new dates in 2022. You will be charged an amendment fee of £35, simply email breakchange@bluestonewales.com with your arrival date in the subject line, confirmation number and you will be contacted to make payment.        

2. Request for your booking to be moved onto a voucher if you don’t know your new dates. (£35 administration fee will apply) We will issue you with a credit for the amount paid and apply it to your original booking payment against a future holiday.

3. Receive partial credit for the days you have not received, should you be required or requested to depart your break early.

Section D

 

All breaks booked after the 8th April 2021 arriving 8th April 2022 onwards.

  2. Should UK/Welsh Government advice significantly change; Bluestone will re-evaluate the guarantee and contact the lead booker via email.
  3. It is your responsibility to comply with all relevant Government regulations, be that from the UK, Welsh, Scottish or Irish Governments, which are applicable to your break. If a Bluestone guest is known not to comply, they will be required to leave the resort. Therefore, if you are at all impacted by lockdown restrictions or any government-imposed self-isolation or restricted movement requirement that coincide with your break, please email Reservations@bluestonewales.com
  4. All other booking terms and conditions remain unchanged.
  5. If you choose to amend your holiday to different dates, should your new holiday be cheaper than your existing booking, you can choose to use the difference as part payment for a future holiday or as credit for your upcoming break.
  6. Should your new holiday be more expensive you will need to pay the difference but, you will not need to pay this until the remaining balance is due.
  7. If you choose to cancel your holiday, you can only do this by emailing refunds@bluestonewales.com. Please refer to our standard terms and conditions for details on cancelling your break.
  8. We aim to review and process any management authorised refunds within 28 days of your arrival date.
  9. The Coronavirus Guarantee is available until the period highlighted under the section heading.
  10. Can be used in conjunction with the lowest price guarantee.
  11. Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date issued. .
  12. Your voucher can be used by calling 01834862400 and the credit amount / expiry date will be emailed to the lead booker as confirmation.
  13. Once a booking has been cancelled it will no longer be possible to be reinstated and rebooking will be at the new current price.
  14. Section C covers all breaks already booked for 2022.

 

The Booking guarantee only covers Coronavirus isolation and related Government restrictions outlined above. For other circumstances please contact your holiday insurance provider.
