Take a walk on the wild side
Step beneath the trees and discover Bluestone at nature’s pace. Our Nature Trail winds through peaceful woodland, beside streams and across stepping stones, creating plenty of opportunities for families to explore together.
Follow the path, listen to the sounds around you and keep your eyes open for signs of woodland life. Remember, there’s no need to rush because the best discoveries are often hiding in the smallest places!

Start at Ranger HQ
Ranger HQ sits near the lake and woodland and is the meeting point for some of Bluestone’s nature-based activities. From here, young explorers can set off to investigate, create and learn in the landscape around them.
Look a little closer
The woodland is full of natural details waiting to be noticed, from leaves and fungi to minibeasts and birdsong. Every season brings different colours, sounds and signs of wildlife to discover.
Cross streams and stepping stones
Follow winding paths beside Pen Glyn Brook and make your way across the stepping stones as the trail leads you deeper into the woodland.
