Nature Art
Get creative with nature
Our Free Rangers will take you deep into the woodland where you’ll use the inspiration of your surroundings and materials to create your own works of art, including leaf mascots and forest masks. Leave your mark on the forest too, by making your very own clay face on one of our trees along the nature trail.
What's involved:
- Nature Art is a great chance for children to get out into the forest and discover a new way to explore and enjoy their surroundings.
- In this 3 hour session, children aged 4-7 will make masks and mascots, using only items found in the woodland.
- Your young artist will also create their own clay face on one of our trees along the nature trail.
- Their masterpiece will be left after the session for other explorers to enjoy – why not come back and spot it later in your break?
- The session meets at Ranger HQ and is led by our Free Rangers who will teach foraging for natural materials and can answer any questions about our woodland.
- Lunch is included! Cheese or ham sandwich (changes seasonally) crisps, chocolate bar or fruit, and squash to drink.
- Children will leave with muddy hands from crafting, painting, and exploring, tired legs from adventuring, and a huge smile!
