Bluestone’s Well Spa Retreat’s Light Touch Oncology Massage has been developed especially for clients who have or had a cancer diagnosis and are having treatment. Benefits include reduction in anxiety and pain, calming of the mind, improved sleep quality and hydration of the skin.

What's involved:

Oncology massage is the adaptation of massage techniques to safely nurture the body. The treatment is completely personalised to your needs, aiding in both recovery and in comfort. 

For the full spa experience, we recommend using the Thermal Suite before your treatment to prepare the skin, muscles, and mind.

Our therapists can advise you whether specific areas in the Thermal Suite will be suitable for you, please talk to us at the Spa.

Caring and calming for mind and body 

What to wear:
To use the Thermal Suite please wear your swimwear. On arrival, you will receive a towel and robe. We are a barefoot spa, so please feel free to bring your own flip flops or slippers. Spa flip flops are available to buy, if you’ve forgotten yours.
Refreshments:
We have complimentary decaffeinated and caffeinated drinks and fruit water available during your visit, or you can buy a glass of prosecco.
Age restrictions:
Thermal Rooms: Minimum 14+ years with adult (18+) supervision. Written consent required before entry.&nbsp;
Treatments: Minimum 16+ years. Adult (18+) must remain within the building or if preferred, within the treatment room. Written consent required before entry.&nbsp;
Safety:
Please inform us of any medical conditions, including pregnancy and cancer treatment, to make sure your treatment is safe for you.
Timing:
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your treatment is booked, to fill out a consultation form for your Spa Therapist.
