There’s no airport stress either, just get in your car and drive. When you arrive, you won’t have to get out, we’ve got drive-through check-in, so you can go straight to your accommodation to start your break – easy.

Unique getaways

We’re not the kind-of-people who like the ordinary - we like big, bold, epic, exciting and want the same for you. Our eco-friendly resort offers a chance for a unique experience. We’ve worked hard to make Bluestone a place where you can switch off and enjoy the things that really matter – spending time with those you love and making memories together.

Our activities are designed to offer adventure, put you in touch with nature, give you the chance to challenge yourself, and offer the freedom of 500-acres of Pembrokeshire countryside. We follow our Free Range ethos and believe the best people to plan your break is you – we just give you space and inspiration to do it. Mix relaxation, with adrenaline; eat-out, enjoy cosy nights in; use the resort as a base to explore Pembrokeshire, or never leave – it’s all down to you.

The Pembrokeshire playground

If you are looking for adrenaline-pumping, outdoor adventures, Pembrokeshire ticks all the boxes. We’ve got 183-miles of pristine coastline, over 50 beaches, a river estuary, peaks to climb, and rolling countryside – all in one county. Being a coastal National Park also means our waters are protected and are some of the cleanest in the UK.

We’re also uniquely positioned on the end of Wales for great surf, and windsurf conditions. The south-west facing coast creates the perfect conditions and beaches like Newgale, Freshwater West, and Whitesands are some of the best in the whole of the UK.

We’re not just the best place to come for adventure sports - we even help create them. Pembrokeshire, along with the south, west coast in England, is credited with helping coasteering thrive over the last two decades and has helped it become the popular activity it is today. Pembrokeshire is one of the best and only places to coasteer in the UK, and if you do visit, we definitely recommend having a go.

All this together has created a natural playground for adventurers and a thriving outdoor community, making it a great place for all ages and experience levels to try a range of activities. On the resort alone we offer outdoor activities including zip wiring, high ropes course, paddleboarding, and kayaking. We can also offer help and advice on where to go off the resort, why not check out our guide here.

Golden, glorious beaches

A beach makes a summer holiday and Pembrokeshire has an incredible 52, 11 awarded with the prestigious Blue Flag Beach – more than any other county in the UK.

It’s not just the abundance, but the quality and diversity on offer to explore from dramatic sweeping bays, coves surrounded by high cliffs, sandy resort towns, and pebbled shores, makes it a unique destination for any beach break. Some of our most famous beaches like Barafundle Bay, Whitesands Bay, Freshwater West, and Newgale, are regularly featured in the best beaches list not just in the UK, but the world – surely making it the best place for a summer escape?

What really makes Pembrokeshire unique is its status as the only official coastal National Park in the UK and thanks to the Park Authority's work, our beaches boast clean waters, clear sand, and have been lovingly protected and nurtured for generations to enjoy. Nestled into this incredible coastline, our beaches offer the chance to relax, play, explore, and get active - that's pretty impressive for one little county!

Ramble, hike, and explore the famous coastline

If you want to spend your summer holiday walking and exploring the great outdoors, then you can't beat the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. It's a breath-taking adventure, that's unique to Pembrokeshire and definitely one that should be on your bucket list. Completely free to use, the 186-mile coast path takes you on an incredible journey around every inch of the beautiful coastline, through wondrous beaches, along towering cliffsides, and to magical places, you can only reach on foot.

Along the coast there are heritage sites and natural wonders like St Govan’s Chapel and the Green Bridge of Wales to explore, adding something extra special to your journey. You don’t have to do it all in one go though, we’ve broken down the best walks, and how you can enjoy some of the “best bits” during your visit.
